Will 30min/day exercise coupled with cutting 500-1000 calories from my diet result in weight loss?
I'm looking to lose between 15 and 20 pounds, and I'm wondering if 30 minutes of fast paced walking per day, plus 4 hours/week of competitive volleyball, and cutting 500-1000 calories/day from my diet will result in weight loss?

yes you should lose about 1-2 pounds a week this way.

Yes. Definitely, but I would add in some weight training as well.
