  1. There is a simple equation for weight loss.

Energy In > Energy Out = Weight Gain

Energy Out < Energy In = Weight Loss

Weight loss is very difficult. That is because it involves a lifestyle change and not a quick fix such as a diet. I am going to tell you a little secret we learn in university that they don’t want the public to know . DIETS DON’T WORK. If anyone else posts an answer that involves a magic "diet" , "pill", or "get thin quick" program than they are lying .

There are 3 tips I am going to give you. They are not magic, they are not temporary but they will work .

Tip 1 : Exercise (but not the "boring stuff’) – if going to the gym is boring, then it is not your thing. There are hundreds of activities that are fun and will help you lose weight. A word of warning though , exercise is not working unless you sweat, your legs feel tired and you do it for more than half an hour, three to five times a week. Everyone has time for that , and if you exercise with a friend it will be even more fun ! (don’t assume exercise won’t benefit your friend because they are skinny)

Tip 2 : Apples….haha ok this isn’t some crazy apple only diet , nor do I mean to only eat apples. I am simply saying before you go to eat a treat (lets say a bowl of ice cream) eat a piece of fruit before. It sounds strange but the reason most diets don’t work is that you are always hungry, and you can’t give up your favourite foods for the rest of your life. It is better to eat many small healthy snacks throughout the day and if you do want a piece of cake, eat the fruit first.

Tip 3: "Rome wasn’t built in a day" . You aren’t going to wake up tomorrow and suddenly start to exercise every day and eat healthy. Set 3 goals a month that are things she CAN do. Eventually exercising everyday and eating healthy won’t be so hard.

Do not be discouraged if you don’t drop 100 pounds overnight, proper weightloss that will stay off FOREVER will happen slowly (usually only a pound a week). But keep at it and eventually the weight will come off.

STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU DROP WEIGHT RAPIDLY (meth, cocaine, "fen phen", etc). They can cause coronary vasospasms (which can cause heart attacks even in young healthy individuals). Anorexia and Bulimia are also risky illnesses that, even when temporarily used, can affect several internal organs and lead to dehydration, organ failure or death

  2. Perhaps you could try the twice a day cereal diet. You have cereals for breakfast and lunch and something else for dinner.

You can see further details in a web search for "twice a day cereal diet".

  3. Fat loss is actually simple but not easy. In order to keep it really simple I am not using any scientific terms.
Cut back on starches and replace your refined sugar intake with molasses or raw honey. Substitute starches with cooked vegetables and raw fruits and/or fresh fruit juices.
You can munch on nuts, edible seeds, figs, sun dried raisins, legumes whenever you are hungry.
You can also have a high quality protein shake after your workout sessions and 2 hrs after supper. This aids in fat loss in an indirect way.
You must do intense but brief sessions of bodyweight exercise for half an hour per day. Even basic exercises like squats, push ups, burpees, jumping jacks, mountain climbers and jump rope skipping will work for you.
Avoid soda, diet soda, soft drinks, junk food, processed foods at all cost.

  4. i found a website where is said that it is not a wrong diet or junk food makes you fat. it is because your stomach content.. creepy though
