What should a 13 year olds diet be for weight loss?

I am 13 years old and I am a boy, I am currently 5'2'' and I am 155 lbs. Please give a good detailed answer something like eat _______ for breakfast and eat ______ For Lunch and Eat ________ for dinner and eat ________ for snacks thanks!

  3. Hun you’re only 13…let your body grow…just eat healthy and excersise if you want to lose weight

  4. Don’t eat anything processed such as fast food or sodas. Drink only water/lowfat milk and eat lean meats, good carbs, fruits and veggies.

  5. So-called "diets" don’t work. Just be sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and try to avoid fatty junk foods. Try vanilla yogurt mixed with fruit and granola for breakfast. Eat caesar salad for lunch, minus the cheese. Sandwiches are always good choices, provided you don’t slather on the mayonnaise. Hope this helps.

  6. Breakfast; high fibre cereal (free of sugars). To add some sweetness add some strawberries or bananas to your cereal, low fat milk. If you want you can sometimes have English muffins, toasted, with canned baked beans and tomato slices.
    Lunch; a salad along with lean meats. Either beef or chicken (no skin).
    Dinner; stirfry with beef, pork, lamb or chicken with various vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower etc. with rice.

    It is advised that you also drink water, I drink about 1.5 litres a day. It’s great for your body and keeps your body full.
    Also, you must also excercise in order to lose the weight. You can’t just eat healthy and not do physical activity. Do things such as aerobics or brisk walking (it’s vital that you do high impact, cardio work) GOOD LUCK!

    Limit desserts to being fruits or vegetables.

    If possible eat many more small meals than 2 or 3 big large meals.

    Only eat until you feel content, not stuffed like an all you can eat at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

    Snacks are good as long as not from vending machines. Chex mix, granola bars, pretzels, …in moderation.

    Don’t starve yourself. When your body feels you aren’t getting enough calories or nutrition, it slows down your metabolism (making you lose weight harder because you retain weight and gain weight very easy).

    I think best bet is if you start cooking for yourself. Learn how to eat better and healthier. Because you haven’t even finished your growth spurt. And growth spurts pull you vertically, not horizontally. Then there’s college where you have to feed yourself then too.
