What is the max amount of weight to lose in 3 weeks?

I wanted to go on a diet and i just want to know what a healthy weight loss goal would be. Im like 5'4 and about 195.

  1. without knowing your age and body type I would guesstimate a loss of about 45-50 lbs would put you back to a healthy weight. This goal could be easily reachable within 8 mo’s to a year if you are disciplined in sticking with a good plan. Losing more than 2-3 lbs per week is not advisable as more will typically through a person into "yo-yo" dieting (losing a lot of weight, then gaining it right back) Losing weight and keeping it off is not about temporary changes and food deprivation. It’s about incorporating proper nutrition and exercise into you life for good =)

    drink lots of water – at least eight glasses a day
    limit the amount of salt you use
    try to stay away from high calorie juices and sodas
    try to keep refined sugars to a minimum
    eat lots of fresh veggies and lean proteins like chicken and fish

    If you are under the age of 18 you should definitely be under the direction of a physician before starting any weight loss program. It’s very important that you are receiving proper nutrition.

  4. You can loose 10lbs the first few weeks (every week) so about 30lbs a month when your first starting out then its 1-2lbs a week after to make sure it stays off. Plus if you try to loose more after your first few weeks too fast it will mostly be water and muscle loss. Try a cleanse before you start and a jump start diet program like the one from jillian micheals or the kardashians they both help jump start weight loss plus try suplements like a protien bar or shake for a meal and lots of veggies some fruits watch out for sugar and carbs you will do great.

    I believe that weight loss always starts from mindset. This is the reason why i am able to lose 15kg in 2 months and maintain for 3 years straight, all the way till my pregnancy.

    1) What is my goal? I want to lose __kg in __ time.
    2) Why do I want to achieve this goal? (if possible, come up with 50 reasons)
    3) If I do not achieve it, what pains will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
    4) If I achieve it, what happiness will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
    5) What will happen to me if I continue my current situation for the next 10 years?
    6) Then when do I want to take action?

    Some solutions I can offer you for diet:
    Breakfast: eat fruits/drink fruit juice
    Lunch: Less carbo, more veg and fruits, less seafood, meat and eggs
    Dinner: Same as lunch but no solid food after 8pm. Soups are great dinners

    If you want to exercise to enhance the speed of weight loss. Go for some light jogging or do something you enjoy like an aerobic class or kick boxing class…

  7. If you want to lose weight some weeks. You can try Lose weight a week plan first!

    Day 1:

    Eat the soup accompanied with watermelon and melon for your main food all day long. Consume a glass of unsweetened cranberry juice before you go to bed.

    Day 2:

    Stop eating fruit at all! Consume your soup and you are allowed to eat green salad. Make sure the salad contain no dressings, peas and corns.

    For dinner you can consume roasted potato or baked potato with butter (don’t ever think to fry it)

    Day 3:

    Consume the soup, salad and fruit but no potato today.

    Day 4:

    Last Day

    Consume 4 table spoons of rice with vegetables. Drink fresh watermelon or melon juice without sugar and eat your soup also today.
