What is a good weight loss diet for a 17 year old boy?

I've seen some places recommend 1540 calories per day and others recommend 3200 since I'm a teen, and i know i should have something like 6 meals per day with a protein, carb, and a fat, but I'm still clueless. What exactly should I be eating and how much, and when? I want this to be fairly permanent. I'm 5'10, 190 lbs, white, and I have access to a Planet Fitness gym just down the street. I'd like to lose as much weight as possible by around April. I'll also be doing some minor weight lifting to build muscle mass. Help me!

  1. Eat 5-6 SMALL…keyword: SMALL meals throughout the day, thus alleviating hunger.

    Keep your sugars and carbohydrates TOTAL to 40-60 grams PER DAY, and spread it out.

    Eat protein, and lot lot lot of water.

    you did not put that weight on overnight, you won’t lose it overnight.

    Keep your caloric intake to 1200-1600 PER DAY.

    I promise you will lose weight, and safely.

  5. I have had great success with FatLoss4Idiots. It is by far my favorite diet plan out of those currently available on the market. It seems to be effective for people who have tried other methods of dieting unsuccessfully because the system is so easy to understand and follow.

  6. Hey I thought I was doing everything right to lose weight until I watched this free video. I found out that I was eating the wrong foods even though they claimed to be low fat, diet and a few other catch words. Check it out. I think it will enlighten you also.
