Vegan Diet good for weight loss?
I'd like to lose 20lbs before Easter. I obviously know exercise, but Is a Vegan Diet a good way to increase the weight loss? I already don't eat pork, beef, or poultry. I think cutting out dairy would help... i love cheese & carbs so maybe no carbs & if i have them only whole grain? Advice plz.

Would not hurt a bit. I have NEVER seen an overweight vegan person.

Cheese is mostly good for you. Carbs are definitely good for you. You don’t have to become a vegan to lose weight, you just how to know how much you’re eating.
Your body needs a certain amount of fuel (food) each day to stay alive and do any exercise/activities that you’re involved in. If you eat slightly less than this amount then your body will burn fat to make up the difference. If you eat way less than this amount, you’ll go into starvation mode and won’t lose anything.
Figure out how many calories you need to eat each day to lose weight, how many extra calories you burn through exercise, and how many calories are in the foods you eat. You can do all of that here:

Good luck!
