I've lost 25 pounds since mid-February but my weight loss has slowed down a lot. How do I stay motivated?

I work out a few times a week and stick to my diet every day. I count calories, try to get enough protein, eat lots of fruits/vegetables, eat only whole grains and have cut almost all sugar out of my diet. I don't drink much diet soda (once in a while as a treat.) I definitely get the right amount of water every day. I drink green tea. My plan is obviously working but I feel like I have hit a plateau. I used to lose more weight per week, which I know related to the fact that I was heavier then. Last week, my weight didn't change. This week, I've lost 1.2 pounds. I know this is normal but I'm having a hard time staying positive when I feel like the scale is barely changing now. How do I stay motivated? Ideally, I would still like to lose about 20 pounds or so to be at my goal weight. Any tips or tricks for working through a weight loss plateau?

Oh, and in case you are wondering, I stick to 1200 calories a day. I'm careful with my measurements - if anything I would say I overestimate my caloric intake.

Also, I don't want to take weight loss supplements, so please don't suggest this to me. Thank you for reading and any help you can offer me!!

Do green tea supplements (mega-t) help you lose weight?

I'm 30f and a big girl 5'9 235. I AM trying to work out by walking the treadmill 45 mins 5 days a week. I'm just looking for a little help. I have asthma, arthritic knees, and diabetes and there is only so much physical activity I can do at this point. I know from personal exp. that most weight loss supplements are scams. But I've heard green tea is actually beneficial if you take enough of it. Does it work in the form of a pill, too?

Paraffin for weight loss???….?

Ok I was at the Dr. yesterday and I came across a Spanish magazine a and there was an ad in there about some sort of paraffin wrap that makes you shed inches in just the first session. I haven't fount much about it on the internet but I was just wanting to know if anybody had any information about it, or if anyone has ever tried it. I found it on eBay and amazon for around including shipping. I'm going to give it a shot. It is called "Slim Flash" check it out and let me know what you think. All answers are appreciated, I just don't want any links to weight loss supplements. Thanks

Should I take weight loss pills?

I'm 17 and i don't excercise that much and have no interest in physical activites yet am relatively muscular. But I have a massive butt and my waist size is 38 even though i look like i should be a 34 just because of the size of my butt. Besides the obvious reasons for wanting to loose weight I want to be able to buy jeans and trousers that fit me as here in Ireland waist sizes seldom go to 38 at my leg length. So should I take weight loss supplements?
If so what ones? I dont have a massive budget.

And from anybodies experience how long does it take to notice a difference?

I weigh 14 stone or 88 kilograms. I would like to drop to 12 stone or 76 kilos.
Ok let me clarify my lifestyle. I go to a boarding school. I cannot make my own meals and my accomadation doesn't allow for the amount of space you would need for wii fit or gym equipment.
I don't mean to be rude but your not quite answering my question. Your telling me not to do this. But I will. I want to know what way I should do it.

Its the same as all those penis enlargement and breast enlargement questions where people don't help they just say you are fine as you are. Answer the question. Its the whole point of asking it.

Hoodia weight loss?

Has anybody heard anything about Hoodia weight loss supplements? I need something affective and SAFE, and I've seen a lot of this Hoodia going around, any info?
Thank you (:
I know that it's a diet suppressant. What are your recommendations? I'm 16, almost 17, and I put on some weight after I had surgery and I want them off :/
Where do Hoodia target the weight loss?

Are there any better pills targeted specifically on hip/thigh areas (I couldn't walk)?

And good brands?
Keep in mind I can't exercise anymore.
I injured my knees badly from lacrosse and I'm still going to physical therapy, so don't give you anything like "diet pills are for lazy people" like the sweet girl below did.

Weight loss tips please?

I have been trying to loose weight for a couple weeks now, and I know I'm not going to see results immediately, I just want to know if there is anything I can do to speed it along. I work out everyday for 30mins, with Jillian's 30day shred video( from the biggest loser). I don't have alot of money so I can't afford all these low calorie foods plus I live with my fiance and his brother, so I can't shop just for myself, so I have been trying to cook with olive oil, and use less salt. I cut my portions in half, I drink water with my meals, and instead of potatoes or any other sides I'll have a salad. I try to have veggies, dairy, meet, and fruits everyday and have as little carbs possible. I have also replaced my morning coffee with green tea with no sugar. if anyone has any tips that will help me see results faster please help! Any advice is welcomed!

P.S. I'm not on any weight loss supplements, I was told most don't work.
the tea I am currently drinking is the wu-yi tea, and it dosent seem to be doing much, I drink it twice a day, like it says.

Weight loss questions..?

I am 21 years old, 5'7" and weight 168 lbs.. ouch, I know.

2 years ago I was 124, but when my husband left for a deployment I was devastated and couldn't stop gaining weight.. (I have quite an appetite when I'm upset)

but lately I can't seem to lose the weight.. :(

Any advice? I went to a personal trainer for 3 1/2 months put felt like I hit a plateau. I went from 180 to 174, then it just stopped.

Should I start looking into weight loss supplements? or just stick to good ol' honest exercise and a stricter diet like salad and lean chicken until I'm back down to a comfortable weight.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Weight loss help from people who actually needed to and lose weight.?

This is to all my formally know as big people aka overweight people. Reason i'm coming to you all with this is because i'm tired looking at skinny people advertising how to loose weight when they never been overweight or fat. But these are my questions:
1. What are some good food recipes and choices that you used to help you loose weight?
2. What problem areas of your body that bothered you the most, and exercises help you the best to solve that problem?
3. If you have bought a exercise machine, some food, or those weight loss supplements on tv or online. Which ones you suggest would be best and that helped you.
4. If you worked how did your job or career effect your weight loss plan?
5. How was your eating habits before and after you reach your weight loss goal?
6. If there are any tips or tricks that help motive, inspire, or made you achieve your goal can you please share?

I'm not trying to be mean to skinny people, but there's so much lies, high risk, and scams out there that it makes overweight people lose faith, money, and hope to be healthy. So unless your a doctor or fitness instructor who's trying to health, no skinny people response to this.
