how do I tactfully tell my husband there is no such thing as a safe diet pill or quick weight loss diet?
I think he interested in losing weight again. Someone told him about LeanSpa and it's "free trial offer". After some research, I showed him that the so called news site touting the drug was a ruse, that there hasn't been enough research on acai to determine if it's safe, and the "free trial" isn't free and can cost over .00. I can't come across as though I'm right, you're wrong, or he'll just give up the diet idea. I do try to cook healthy meals (he's only home for supper, though), but I can't stop him from digging in that jar of peanut butter (he does eat it with an apple or banana, no cookies) nor make him exercise (says he's gets enough at work, but that were true, he wouldn't be so out of shape.). I just don't want to scare him off, I want to encourage him.
A diet pill is not going to convince him to exercise.

Helpful diet/weight loss ideas please?
I've been on a diet for almost 3 months now. I've lost a total of 10 pounds. I've cut out soda, fast food, and a lot of red meat. I've been walking more, but the weight loss is going so slow. I've recently started some light muscle toning exercises.
The majority of my weight that I need to lose is in my gut/stomach area, upper thighs, and that area that sticks out over your bra... you know what I'm talking about ladies... Has anyone had any luck toning that nasty "bye bye" arm flap area??? I need help!!!
Has anyone had any luck with any other diets? Any suggestions?
What are some good weight loss techniques for a 14 year old girl?
so I'm 14 years old, 5'0", and weigh about 125 lbs. so im only slightly overweight. give me easy ways to lose weight, especially weight loss techniques to help me shape up my butt and give me smaller thighs, which is more important to me than any other body feature. please help, i'd appreciate that. (:
How to further expedite my weight loss, what else can I do?
I'm 24 years old, 5'8" and currently 166 lbs. I have lost 10 lbs in the last 6 weeks steadily (about 1-2 lbs a week). I have been creating a calorie deficit by eating less (around under 1000 cal/day) and exercising a LOT more (1 hour combo of power-walking and running at least 4-5 times a week) . I cut out sugars, sodium, eating late at night and have been eating more veggies, whole wheat and protein. I'm also taking Alli as a weight loss supplement. My goal weight is around 120-125 lbs.
Is there anything else I can do to speed this up?
I know I probably sound overzealous but even at a 2 lb loss a week, that's around 5 months from now =(
Perhaps there's another form of cardio I could be doing that is more efficient at burning calories?
Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated.

Is this a good exercise plan for weight loss?
I'm 5'10" and weigh 160 pounds or so. I want to drop about 20 and get lean. My plan is to cycle the 3 miles to my local pool, swim lengths alternating between fast and slow with a 30 second rest between each pair for an hour, and then cycle the 3 miles back, repeating this every morning. Would this result in any considerable weight loss?
