Vegan Diet & Weight Loss….DO they go together???
I have been considering going vegan.
It should be fairly easy for me because I hate milk(unless it's chocolate) and cheese(unless it's on pizza)and the only meat I eat is chicken and turkey. I want to give up those things and only eat fruits, veggies, and whole grains....and occasionally some of my favorite sweets. I also have recently started working out 5 times a week. I have a goal to lose 15 lbs(to go from 130 to 115)and I am 5'5". Did any of you vegans out there also lose weight when you started the diet? I heard that meat and dairy slows your metabolism and Im just wondering if my metabolism will speed up and if I will lose the weight I want to lose.
A diet weight loss plan for eating 4 or 5 small meals a day?
Hey everyone. I am a 15 year old guy, I weigh 161.5 pounds and I stand at 5''8. I've recently lost 13.5 pounds but I have seem to hit a plateau in the weight loss, meaning I'm barely losing as much as I was at the beginning. I've read a lot of information about the weight loss plan of eating 4 or 5 meals throughout your day to keep your metabolism sped up, which I'm almost positive I need. But I don't know how to set one up to fit my schedule. I wake up at 6:15 every week day and leave my house at 6:45 for school. My lunch period is from 10:30-11:15, and I come home around 2:45. My dinner however can be flexible. So can anyone help me? What should I eat for breakfast or lunch? When and what else should I eat in between? I would so greatly appreciate it if someone could outline for me a plan in detail if possible. Thanks so much!
What are the safest diet pills to help jump start the weight loss process?
I currently weigh 215 pounds and I'm 28 years old. I just started exercise (walking 30 min. a day) this week. I know it's too soon to see results but I'm wondering if there's something I can take to jump start my metabolism. I haven't exercised in a while. I gained 50 pounds over the last 3 years. I was not always this big so I feel like my body has slowed down significantly. I want to lose weight the right way and I don't want to take pills that are bad for me. Any recommendations would be helpful.
Can instant diet changes result in weight loss?
Someone told me that changing up your diet causes weightloss. I eat very healthy. He was saying that if I have some junkfood days, my body will respond differently and my metabolism will shoot up. Then, if I go right back on to my healthy diet, the same thing will happen. I think this is just theory. Give me answers.

So my question is, Can fast weight loss be healthy if while cutting your calories you still separate to 5-6 meals a day to keep your metabolism up; While also going to the gym everyday working different muscle groups every other day, while still doing a strong aerobic workout every day?

I need tips on a for sure weight loss diet.?
I'm 5'9" and it has been awhile since I had been on the scale. It runs in the gene pool to get unwanted fat areas, I don't want that. I find myself constantly covering up my arms and my stomach when I am around my friends because they are thin. I'm not terribly fat, I'm not even fat. But I do feel way to self-conscious and swim suit season is close and I am like ewww. I used to be like a super twig, then I got older and my metabolism slowed. I find myself always feeling hungry and saying I can lose it later. And I think it's time later come. I feel like a fat blob, and constantly trying to compare myself to fat people and I feel awful for it. My clothes are shrinking and I need help!!!

How long does it usually take to see any weight loss after starting a new diet?
I started really working hard one week ago on eating right, and I decided that I would only weigh myself once a week. Well, today was my weigh day, and not a single pound gone!!! I am so discouraged because I have worked really hard, eating right, and going to the gym all week, doing tons of cardio!! Does it take longer than a week to get your metabolism turned around?? Someone please tell me it will start to come off!!
