Would an egg omelet be good for a weight loss diet?

I am now on the HCG diet, The diet says only eat between 500 and 800 cal and do not work out.

I eat slightly more then that because I work out everyday.
So far I am losing weight and its working good..

But if I were to sort of cheat and have an egg omelet with all the veggies and maybe some sort of meat would that be ok..I would get my omelet from Dennys..

Who here has lost a lot of weight through diet & exercise…how long before you noticed weight loss?

How long after you started exercising did it take before you noticed you were losing weight? Recently I've been walking/jogging on the treadmill for about 50 minutes (3.2-4.2mph, 2% incline). I'm not sure when I should notice a difference. I don't want to get discouraged. I'm female BTW.

weight loss plateau on low fat diet?

Last month I had pancreatitis and my gallbladder removed. I've followed a low fat, alcohol and caffine free diet and have been losing weight steadily. However, my weight loss has stalled possibly because I can't eat more than 15 grams of fat a day without pain, gas, nausea and diarrhea. Any suggestions on how to jump start my weight loss again?

How long should it take to notice weight loss after a change in my diet?

Over the last few days I've been eating fewer simple carbs (but more fruits and veggies, just not bread or junk) and more protein. I've also been walking.

How long before I should start losing weight?

Is there any diet pill that really does boost weight loss with exercise?

I'd like to lose 20 lbs and I do workout and exercise at the gym but I was wondering if there was any diet pill that actually does work really well as a booster to working out and losing weight. I also choose healthier eating alternatives also.

how do I tactfully tell my husband there is no such thing as a safe diet pill or quick weight loss diet?

I think he interested in losing weight again. Someone told him about LeanSpa and it's "free trial offer". After some research, I showed him that the so called news site touting the drug was a ruse, that there hasn't been enough research on acai to determine if it's safe, and the "free trial" isn't free and can cost over .00. I can't come across as though I'm right, you're wrong, or he'll just give up the diet idea. I do try to cook healthy meals (he's only home for supper, though), but I can't stop him from digging in that jar of peanut butter (he does eat it with an apple or banana, no cookies) nor make him exercise (says he's gets enough at work, but that were true, he wouldn't be so out of shape.). I just don't want to scare him off, I want to encourage him.
A diet pill is not going to convince him to exercise.

How can I effectively put myself on a good weight loss diet?

Hello everyone, in my short 19 years I have never had the luxury of being at a normal weight. Well I'm sure no one wants to here a sob story; I'll get straight to the point :-P .

If you are reading this I am sure that you know the basics of what I an going to ask, but I would greatly appreciate if you could also answer some other questions as well :) . I am having an extremely hard time losing weight, I cannot seem to go a week without going straight back to the junk food that has been plaguing me for years. After experiencing increased back and chest pains I decided that it is time for me to lose weight, and of course my family practitioner agreed; his concern for my weight and pains in the chest made me very uneasy about my future :( . I thought I could just go with my own flow and not bother reading up on articles since from what I seen, it is just someone trying to scam you for money :'(.

What I have been doing is working out for 40 minutes a day on specific body parts and the what not. I believe I got the training down pretty decently, I weight train and walk for at least an hour day, sometimes up to 3 hours if I'm "feeling" it ha ha. Now like a lot of men and women, I just can not stop eating.

I put myself on a regular diet, which I think is correct. 4-5 small meals a day consisting of little meat (trying to substitute nuts for meat as much as I can), an apple or a banana, some good ole pasta and a piece of whole grain bread. Then it hits me, that sudden urge for greasy food and other junk. Probably the worst combo I literally ALWAYS get, a large bag of chips, 1L of coke and cookies to boot.

I try not to starve myself since I'll just end up losing water weight? and muscle (I think I heard that right at least). I am 5'11 325lbs and desperate to lose at least 140lbs by maybe years end. Any help is appreciated, even the sarcastic ones that will give me a giggle :)
Am I doing the correct routine?
How can I stop these "urges" to eat?

Will I ever know why Uwe Boll continues to make terrible movies?

How about this for a weight loss diet?

Im currently trying to lose about 5 stone, from 17, down to about 12, Im 20 years old and about 6 foot.

Ive had some experience in the past of losing weight, and getting fit, so ive made the below CV schedule and diet plan, that I have been going at for about a month, losing 16 pounds.

Breakfast: 2 weetabix with Red Milk

Lunch: Heinz soup 2 days a week, the other 5: Cucumber, Carrot, Lettuce and Chopped apple and Banana.

Dinner: Chicken Breast with corn on the cob, and mixed vegetables.

I have fridays as my day for weighing myself, and have this as a treat night varying from curry to pizza.

In terms of exercise, I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, consisting of 5 minutes of rowing to warm up, followed by an hour of X-Trainer, with a one minute break every ten minutes, followed by 10 minutes on the bike to cool down, and a few resistance machines.

I was just wondering if ayone has any tips on how I could improve on this, as its going to be a fairly long term project, I want it to be do-able as well as successful.
