Does Coffee or Tea harm a weight loss diet?

I am 34yrs, 5ft 2 inches and 120lbs. I would like to lose 10lbs. I usually have about 4 cups of coffee at the office with non-dairy creamer and 1 packet of sugar. I enjoy Green Tea but I am effected by caffeine (sadly addicted - migraines without :-( ) What are your suggestions?
I also have a severe back injury (3 cracked vertabrea (sp?), 2 bulging discs that is preventing me from doing strenuous exercise. Not to mention I have a sprained ankle LOL....what can I say, I'm a mess LOL ;-)

Good Weight Loss Diet?

16 years old male, 63kg

Breakfast:
-2 eggs
-1/2 cup oatmeal w/ low-fat milk
-1 green tea
-4 broccolli
-1 leaf lettuce

Snack:
-7 strawberries
-6 baby carrots

Snack:
-6 broccoli

Lunch:
-1 chicken breast
-6 broccoli

Snack:
-1 green tea

Dinner:
-1 chicken breast
-6 broccoli
-1 leaf lettuce

10 glasses water

I think i am eating healthy, I just need to get a protein shake in there somewhere. (after workout). I am lacking in calories, what healthy food should I consume of that contains lots of calorie?

What is your fav tea/drink for weight loss diet?

I am curious what other teas/drinks can help weight loss/ detox, along with or instead of green tea. Do you have any good recipe? I just like the ones made from plants/bark, that I can brew myself,and eventually taste good.

How can i lose weight?? whats the best diet loss pill?

well im 20 and 5'10" and weigh 238...anyway i used to take Hydroxycut like 2 years ago and then stopped when they had tehir lawsuits and bad media...anyway i gained weight and now i joined the gym and im trying to lose weight..my goal is to drop down between 200-210...wahts the best pill to take?? i been having a hard time getting motivated at the gym but i know if i take a pill to help me jumnpstart my weight loss il get hooked and hit the ground running...so far all im doing is running 2 miles in 20 minutes and lifting...i cut back on fat foods but in the last two weeks i only dropped 2 lbs...i only drink water,, lo-cal vitamin water...G2 gatorade,,,green tea and diet lemon tea and v8....gimme any tips or tricks you guyz used....thx
umm yea i said i cut back on fat foods AND i joined a gym...that wasnt the question...i just want to JUMPSTART my diet...cuz once i see results i usually drop the pills but im staying away from hydroxycut bcuz of the bad publicity i heard...

A good diet for weight loss?

I have been trying to eat really well lately and would like to know if this diet will help me loose weight or if i'm doing anything weong:

breakfast = oatmean with blueberries, rasberries and blackberries
at around 10am I have an apple and yogurt
for lunch I have one slice of whole wheat break with a slice of low fat cheese and tuna with letuce
and for my meal at around 6pm I eat salmon with peas or chicken and salad...
I have regular coffee, green tea and water throughout the day.

Can you please give me your opinion on my weight loss plan/diet?

This may be a little detailed for some but can you please bear with me as i really would like some honest opinions.

I slowly put on weight during my final years of school because i stopped sports to study and my eating habits did slip to being unhealthy.

My weight has been the same for about a year.

I'm female, 18 and 167cm.

I have been working full time for 7 months (earning money for uni). I work an average of 50 hrs a wk. my weight has remained constant over that time even though i have been off and on trying to eat healthy and exercise more. it has actually dropped 3 kgs since i left school. BUT i have noticed that i've lost muscle tone and put on fat on my stomach. this is because i find it hard to put exercise into my day given that 2-3 dys a wk i leave home at 7.15 am and get back at 9.15pm... with an hrs break between jobs in between. i am also prone to eating badly sometimes.

So anyway... too now.

I started the meal replacement diet optifast 5 days ago. I was 78kgs and now i am 73kgs. My diet consists of:

1/2 cup (uncooked) of porridge, made with water.
3x cups green tea
2x optifast shakes
2x cups raw vegetables
about 1.5L water from the tap

which is exactly what the optifast diet recommends minus 2 tsps oil (because i don't cook the vegetables)

i feel okay but i am concerned at the rate of weight loss 1kg each day seems extreme to me. it makes me happy but i wonder if i am damaging my body?

i know that people regain the weight after going on these crash diets but i am confident that i will not because i know how to eat well and i have made a decision to ditch the foods which i know were making me fat and also my working hrs are being reduced so i will have more time to exercise (i love bike riding and lifting weights).

the quick results and convenience of this diet have made me more determined, positive and happy with myself. because i have been able to stick to the diet so far i feel more confident in my willpower. i feel like my attitude to eating has changed for the better. my friend even said that i sounded completely different and determined about my weight than ever before. i believe and have planned on eating right after i go off the shakes and having already lost weight i know that i don't need to eat bad food (where as before i would just say 'what the heck' and just eat it even though i know its not healthy).

BUT after reading reviews on the internet i am concerned that its dangerous to do this diet. what is your opinion? I would appreciate it if you read the entire thing before giving a serious answer. thank you very much in advance to any serious answerers.

How long do you have to be on a diet before you notice weight loss?

Its only been 2 days but i just want to know about how long it usually takes.

I have been eating a small breakfast then a snack in the morning. When i get home i have some tuna and I walk/run 2 miles. Then i have a small dinner. I don't eat after 8pm. How does that sound? Also i only drink diet green tea and water.

weight loss/diet question?

i am 14 and 145 pounds, and i am starting a diet.
i eat 5 meals a day at about 200 calories each
for example today i had
7 am: 1 activia yogurt with 15 blueberries
11 am: 1 fiber one bar/100 calorie pack dry almonds
3pm: one apple and carrots with 1 tbsp of ranch low cal dressing
6pm: 2 turkey meatballs with tomatoe sauce and a small plate of veggies
9pm: one 90 cal pudding

i also do the gillian michaels 30day shred 6 times a week and rum 2 miles 3 times a week.

if i keep this up, by summer how much weight do you think i can lose? will i be able to see a difference?
also i drink about 2 liters of water and two cups of green tea a day

weight loss diet and exercise plan?

So tomorrow, I plan on starting my diet and exercise plan. Since I haven't exercised in quite a while, I'm thinking about starting off with a walk, then run on the treadmill. When I start to see some weight loss, then I'll move on to other exercises to tone up. I've also heard that drinking green tea before a workout is helpful at burning fat. Is this a good plan? Any tips?

Weight Loss/Diet Question?

How much weight will I lose?!?
I'm 19. 5'4". 135 lbs. I've started a new diet which consists of ONLY fruit, vegetables, brown rice, green tea, and water. No dressings, or salt or pepper, or little extras. No cheats or snacks or anything. No potatoes or grapes or bananas, too. I'm exercising daily. How much weight do you expect me to lose in two months?
