What is the solution for my health problem? weight loss? diet? surgery?
hi, recently i have been diagnosed with sleep apnea. I am 6'4'', 298 pounds. i have been a big kid ever since i was an infant. I tried alot of diets, nothing works.
My doctor suggested MMA surgery which is to forward the top part and lower part of my jaw forward and add titanium plates. I am not digging that idea.
another surgical way is to to a septoplasty and tonselactamy. But the chances of it changing anything is 50 percent.
I have been trying CPAP for a month but it wakes me up, numbs my mouth, it doesn't seem to fit well with me.
My body is always aching from lack of sleep and ofcourse my overweightness. I have alot of muscle mass and i'm sure fat mass as well, i use to play alot of sports.
i walk over a mile every day and tried to eat healthy for a month but lost only 5 pounds.
I live under a very poor condition so i cannot afford a gym, i do not have a kitchen either, i only have a microwave.
that is my stiuation, i would like to hear u. i need your help,..
What is a good weight loss diet for vegetarians?
My husband and I are both vegetarians (well I eat seafood, but he does not). We both need to lose at least 40 pounds. What is a good diet program that would work with what we eat. I know a lot of people that lost weight with Atkins & South Beach, but those diets don't really fit in to a vegetarian lifestyle. I am not looking for a quick fix, but something that we will be able to stick with for awhile. I know that part of our problem is that we eat a lot of carbs. We practically live on pasta. Its hard because we work different schedules so neither one of us really cooks a meal, but rather grabs something to eat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Helpful diet/weight loss ideas please?
I've been on a diet for almost 3 months now. I've lost a total of 10 pounds. I've cut out soda, fast food, and a lot of red meat. I've been walking more, but the weight loss is going so slow. I've recently started some light muscle toning exercises.
The majority of my weight that I need to lose is in my gut/stomach area, upper thighs, and that area that sticks out over your bra... you know what I'm talking about ladies... Has anyone had any luck toning that nasty "bye bye" arm flap area??? I need help!!!
Has anyone had any luck with any other diets? Any suggestions?

My husband is over weight, he is 6'0" tall and weighs about 305 lbs. He has tried diets and it didn't work all the way. I tired cooking healthy but still he isn't losing weight. We can't afford very expensive programs. He wants something that is a weight loss program/clinic that is affordable. Where or what should he do. He needs to lose a lot of weight, plus he 34 years. Any advice please.
