Weight loss itself or the protein and carbs difference gets the 6 pack abs results?

I notice that when my weight gets lowered the abs look better. However, I hear stories about carbs and proteins....it all gets too technical. Is it all about the technical(carbs and proteins) or the overall in general (weight loss) when it comes to having a great body?

How much weight can I lose doing this?

I have been consuming 1500 calories and burning 1000 at the gym. I eat the 1500 calories in six small meals a day and eat little to no carbs and very little fat. How much weight can I expect to lose in one month? I am 5 feet 6 inches and I weight 145 pounds. Also, I don't want anyone to respond with links to weight loss supplements, acai berry, or anything that does not include pure diet and exercise.

Is Kashi GoLean cereal good for weight loss?

It has a lot of carbs and calories in it, so I was wondering if it's good for weight loss. I've been eating oatmeal and I've been successful with that so I'm afraid to switch to something different.

Why does the high protein diet promote weight loss?

Is weight loss from this type of eating style at the expense of vital organs? (Tell me on the high protein/low carbohydrate eating style please comment on this trend to omit/decrease carbs and increase proteins and some of the health effects of this type of eating style such as osteoporosis.)

Abs diet or Dukans diet? which one is better for healthier weight loss?

I lost lot of kilos last year with this Dukans diet but gained everything again when i started eating normal - I found out this Abs diet wher you can add some carbs - like whole grain breads and rise - even strawberries and blueberries - which are forbitten in Pierre Dukan - also almonds and beans which are believed to be fattening are allowed too! Before starting another diet I would like to think twice cause i dont want to make another yo-yo - if you understand me :)

weight loss for a healthy teen?

I'm 16 years old and I weigh 107 lbs. and I have a muscular figure. I know everyone says muscles look nice but I'm not comfortable with my figure. I have spoken with a doctor and he said I could still be healthy and muscular at 100 pounds.
How can i go about doing this, I eat healthy, but i dont wan't to cut out all carbs, because im still a teen. Can someone give me a meal plan and an exercise plan? My legs are the most muscular part of my body and i want to make them thinner and longer.

Why has my weight loss leveled after week 3+ of the Atkins Diet?

I've done the atkins diet before with good results. Now i decided to get back to it & have been very good for the past 3 weeks. I limit myself to <20 carbs on avg & never cheat.

I noticed that my weight loss has leveled off. Is this normal? I'm still in a very dark stage of Ketosis according to the urine strips.

Any suggestions?

i am age 12 and i am not satisfied with my body. i i am about 5 feet and 3-4 inches, and weigh 105 pounds. now, i play tennis about everyday, so i am very active. i want to lose my fat and gain muscle..and diet plans that have helped anyone? also, i dont know understand alot about carbs and proteins, i look online but its a bit complicated. anyone willing to say how many calories or carbs should i eat a day???please, nobody tell me i dont need to lose weight. i am not doing this cause of my appearance in the mirror, i am doing this for my sport. so typically my questions are:

how many calories/carbs should i eat a day?
how many times should i work out a day and how long?
any websites that helped anyone?

Help with healthy meals that will help with weight-loss?

I normally do not eat breakfast on weekdays because of school. But what would you advice me to eat (portion wise) for lunch, dinner and snacks. Specific things would be nice too. I just need help on like how many calories per meal and overall. And how much carbs and all that good stuff. Thanks for any help!
also are there any website that help plan out a healthy diet?

Difference between protein powder for muscle gain or weight loss?

Or are they all intended to increase muscle mass? I found one that is 140 calories, 2g carbs, would this be good for weight loss?
My goal is to lose weight.
