I am on Day 3 of Phase 1. I need some nighttime snack ideas. I find that to be the most difficult time. Also, how much weight lost can be expected in Phase 1? Any other advice?

  1. Lol.. I just asked a similar question. I’ve been on South Beach Diet before. I always loose around 18 pounds (then I gain it back for winter and loose it in summer again).
    I guess you know that you can have maybe 15 or so almonds or cashews. Also if you don’t eat breakfast have a hard boiled egg. Have you ever tried Lupini Beans (bite skin and squeeze bean into your mouth.. usually used as beer snacks)? They come in a jar at your supermarket usually near the Mexican foods or condiments. Sometimes I wrap fat free turkey around a dill pickle for a snack. You can also have part skim String Cheese. You can have sugar free jello with light whipped cream. Olives…..
    Just watch not to gorge yourself because calories can add up. Eat until you are satisfied. You will probably loose at least five pounds this week!

  3. Celery and peanut butter is delicious and low carb! When I was on phase 1 I lost 16 lbs in those 2 weeks! :-)

  4. I am starting it myself. Well actually tomorrow since it is a new day..you can have sugar free jello, nuts, or low fat string cheese. Those will be some of the ones I will be eating anyways.
