Running vs Walking for weight loss and diet plan?
My bf and I are constantly battling over what is better for weight loss.
He says running I say walking.
I've read walking is more beneficial to burning fat while running will burn more carbohydrates over fat. I've also heard, unless one is an experienced runner it can be bad for the knees and lower back.
So does anyone have the truth.
I am trying to lose a bit of weight, just so I can feel comfortable again but have a horrible diet. I hate breakfast which I know is a killer for the metabolism so another question I have is would this be a suitable diet along with exercise to lose weight.
Breakfast - Two peices of fruit 6 almonds
Morning Tea - Soy Latte
Lunch - Pita wrap with fresh salad mix
Afternoon Snack - (which I rarely feel like) Yogurt or fruit
Dinner - Meat and veg
Plus I drink lots of water.
My aim is to walk 30mins a day with my son and at night do fifteen minutes of light jogging on the treadmill and some toning exercises.
Is there anything I should add or take away.
Thanks ![]()

Okay, Diet is one thing though it’s not that important. Just eat greens, meat and grains.
This thing that is much more powerful over the details about running and walking is:
Walk or run first thing in the morning before you eat breakfeast. This will focus solely on your fats, lipeds(calories). This will strengthin your body for a higher motabolism and you’ll burn more and be active more by each day past.
It doesn’t really matter if you walk, speed walk, job, run, sprint or anything else, just do it before eating anything. And then after walking or running, eat something light i.e. oatmeal
The main thing, just focus on excersing together, being happy with eachother while doing it. Don’t argue because you want to be right, right, right. The more you think your right, the more your wrong. Just be happy you have a significant other to live through life with.
Smile!!! Be happy!!!
Much love and hoping great moments to come to you.

On some occasions diet and exercising simply isn’t enough, as there will be additional weight simply lying around in the pipes. It’s not body fat, therefore it can’t be burned off, but it will be flushed out, simply by using a diet supplement. http://gilept.yourquickdiet.info has a risk free offer on offer at the moment, I tried it and lost 17 lbs!! Who says there is no magic bullet? LOL!!!
