Is this an acceptable diet for quick weight loss?
I want to lose about 20 pounds before spring break.
I have no problem exercising (i just have to stick with it), my issue is food.
So my plan a temporary diet plan is:
2 slim fast shakes (breakfast and lunch), and a southbeach diet tv dinner thing (dinner)
of course after I lose weight, i will just maintain it but come off of this temporary diet.

Depending on your diet plan, weight loss effect is very obvious in the short term. But your diet plan contains only a small amount of food, 2-3 weeks later because you lack of nutrition will affect your health. When you return to normal diet, body weight will increase, perhaps more than your original weight.

Watch your calories (but don’t go too low or your body will go in "starvation mode" and just store all of the fat and everything you eat)

Your best bet is to eat healthy foods like fruits, veggies, fish, skinless chicken breast, oatmeal, egg whites, brown rice etc. You should also exercise as much as you can before that day comes by doing a lot of cardio and light weights.
good luck

walking is great, they suggest for you to walk as much and as soon as possible, i wouldn’t diet just yet, but if you are eating healthy and walking every day there shouldn’t be a problem losing weight

Cardio. You can’t spot-train (or just lose weight in one area). The only thing you can do it keep up the cardio and work out those muscles (the more muscle mass you have the better your metabolism works).
Just keep up the cardio
Keep working out
Lots of water
Plenty of sleep

You can get yourself a pair of dumbells which can be used for a variety of exercises that will help you build muscle. Start eating more proteins, it will help build muscle and your overall health. Hope this helps!

Try to eat less fat, and when it comes to how you eat, a quick thing to remember is to keep your portion sizes under control, even with relatively healthy food, as it still has calories of some sort. Eat small portions frequently to maintain a steady metabolic rate.

I keep recommending this to everyone because it’s cool ! I was able to get cut and maintain my sanity on this simple program. It’s based on how the liver and how it responds to food – this is the basis of the most effective diets out there . Don’t be fooled by other plans, pills, etc.
If you want to lose weight and still enjoy eating so you can keep lean and fit for the rest of your life, give this a try .
There’s a easy to follow of the program at the link below – follow this link.
