Is it possible to go on a weight loss diet of only sanitarium up an go's?
I was just thinking about it. It's supposedly meant to have the same amount of nutrition of an actual breakfast. I was wondering, if I were to replace every meal of the day with a sanitarium up and go, what would happen? would there be detrimental side effects to my health? and what kind of Weight loss could I expect?
Here are the stats of an up and go.
Calories 193 ( Kilojoules 800 )

What do you think will it work or won't it?

You may lose weight eating only one food, but you will be doing it in a very unhealthy way!
I would think you would get bored with this "diet" way before you see results.
Honestly, if you want to go this type of route, look into Medifast. It has bars, shakes, snacks, soups, a lot of different "on the go" foods. it is all fortified and balanced. People say it is too low cal. and not healthy but I had blood work done the week I reached my goal weight and it was perfect. My Dr. was very impressed, she did not want me to go on MF.
I lost 60 pounds on it last year. It’s kind of expensive but the results can NOT be argued, and when you add up all the junk, coffees, alcohol, etc. that you will eliminate from your diet, most of the cost is defrayed.
If you do decide to use these bars, at least mix them up daily with other "diet" products, and eat at least one "real" meal of lean protein and lots of veggies once a day.
Good luck! Prinnie45
