How to improve diet/weight loss?
Hey all. I'm a 18yo male who's recently lost some weight just from cutting back on the sodas, ice cream, snacks, etc. I weighed about 220 and am now down to 170 (though still have a stomach bulge and fatty pecs). However, I've now started P90X here and there..I usually do an exercise every other day, not every day as recommended.
I drink atleast 64 fl. oz of water a day. My diet meal consists of two poptarts and a fiber bar for breakfast (520 cals, 14g fat, 100g carbs (47g sugar), 11g fiber, and 8g protein) and then usually a Subway sub for dinner (~1000 cal, always on wheat bread) and maybe popcorn for a late snack.
Where and how can I improve my diet to promote some slimming and weight loss? I plan on going into the gym for muscle building within the next week or so, but really want to make sure I've got my dieting and such set. Thanks for any help

Hi, My friend’s wife recently came across a specially made DVD for ladies to lose weight by dancing although it is good for anyone to lose weight permanently. In just a few short weeks she had to buy some new clothes to fit her new figure. If you wish follow her example open the link below, it has a 365 day guarantee.
Good luck.

The way I lost weight was setting a calorie target. That meant I could have sweet things (ie. poptarts, lollies) but I wouldn’t be able to have a big dinner. Then I created a larger calorie deficit by exercising my ass off – but it worked. I lost about 4kg in a week.

My cousin was having the same sort of question. She found this page on the internet that helped her with her preconcieved ideas of dieting. I don’t know if it is what you need but it something you might look into. It really has been quite the success for her.
Best of luck

Megan C. from Los Angeles, California, lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks. I weighed 160, and then six weeks later I am at 130… this diet seemed to take it back to where your body was supposed to be naturally.

That’s a great question! I can understand how you feel, trying to find the perfect product. There are no Silver Bullets i.e. any one program or product in the marketplace that can be the Be-All solution to every problem!
I believe you will also need a regimental exercise program to get you where you want to be. A friend of mine told me about this company that provided an effective solution to their problem.
After a couple of months, I have seen the results! It may be worth your time and efforts to investigate further.
This year is going to be a great year and I hope that you are successful with accomplishing your goals.
Congratulations on taking action!

I have wasted lots of time, and energy, not to say money…in trying to find out
the perfect solution…all by myself. Everything changed when I joined a
weight loss program.

Just because it’s not full of heavy carbohydrates doesn’t mean it’s going to taste bad. Most of the foods we love don’t have a lot of carbs if you think about it, fresh fruit, red meat etc.. We all love chocolate cake too yes, it’s true, but if you keep your overall carbs low you can still enjoy your cake too. Low carb diets are incredibly easy to eat. Usually you simply need to find low carb substitutes for the high carb foods you enjoy the most. In this answer we will be discussing a few ideas that will help you out.
Choose foods that are vegetable based. Vegetables are low in carbs. This is good to know for when you go out to eat. Pick your side dishes based upon how many vegetables they have. Many side dishes are higher in calories and contains foods that are filled with carbs. For example, steamed vegetables would be considered a wonderful side dish. The are also wonder picks for snacks. One of the most hardest things about eating a low carb diet is selecting healthy diets. Carrots, broccoli and cauliflower are all perfect selections for carb free snacks. If vegetables contain carbohydrates the carbohydrate levels are incredibly low.
Lots of people assume that one of the best things about eating a low carb diet is that you are free to eat lots and lots of meat. You need to be picky about the cuts of meat that you eat. There are unhealthy elements to meat, such as fat. You should be using lean cuts of meat when preparing your meals and snacks. Lean beef, lean chicken and even lean cuts of fish. The less fat on your meat dish the better you will be.
Cheese is a great snack if you are trying to eat a low carb diet. Most cheeses will have either no carbs or a limited amount. Just be sure to read the nutrition label before eating too much. Some of cheeses, like feta, do contain small amounts of carbohydrates. Talk to your doctor if you’d like to use cheese as a snack while following a low carb diet. How the cheese is made is the main determining factor in the amount of carbs it has.
There are various things you can do to make cutting down on carbs easier. It isn’t always about simply eliminating foods.
This is really about finding low carb foods that you can use in place of the high carb foods you love. As you research low carb diets, you may be surprised at how easy they really are to follow. You will find that you are simply eating a well balanced diet.
