high in fiber diet/weight loss at 40?
I'm on a high in fiber diet for health and weight loss reasons. My mother passed away from cancer and she was a diabetic, high blood pressure, 6 heart attacks...so this kicked my butt into action. I'm almost 40 and weigh about 190 lbs. I should workout more than I do, but on the food side 90% of the time I'm on target with good habits. I need to know numbers with advice on fibers, fats, cal.s, carbs. ETC... then on e other hand with the exercise. Plus I'd like to do the same for my 11 yr. olds son, please help me out...thanks!

It is hard for someone to just tell you macronutrient numbers from your diet because it varies for everyone. You need to go online to a daily calorie calculator and determine your daily needs based on that. It is dependent of age, height, weight, sex, and activity levels. Do the same for your son as well. For exercise, try to do some form of cardiovascular activity 4-6 times a week and then incorporate some sort of resistance training like light weights, or body weight exercises 2-3 times a week.
