6-Month Weight Loss??

I have 6months to get into shape. I have a 6 month old daughter, and there are still some extra pounds left over from the pregnancy. I'd like to focus alot on my stomach, but also tone up all over. Is 6months a reasonable time frame to attain results? What types of work outs should I be doing-how often-how long? Any suggestions on how many calories I should be eating per day? And also should I be taking a weight loss supplement? I'm pretty clueless as you can tell....but I am so motivated! I just need to be set in the right direction!! PLEASE HELP ME!!! THANKS!

  1. Try joining Weight Watchers. I started it three months ago and have been very successful with it.

Or if you can’t afford going to the meetings, which are a total lifesaver in the diet department, try http://www.thedailyplate.com. You can figure out how many calories you need to eat to lose weight, and also log all your food per day you eat on there.

  2. Here is an awesome website tons of diet info and supplements and workouts. http://www.bodybuilding.com. Keep in mind diet is 80% of the puzzle. It is very difficult to lose weight after having a baby, be patient and be consistant. The best advice I can give you is to not eat sugar or drink carbinated drinks even diet ones. They can sabatoge your results. They are very bad for your body. Also, there is a great book about training and nutriton it is Body for Life by Bill Phillips. It is also a healthy way to eat. I hope this helps you! :)

  3. Hi there. I posted a question similar to this one yesterday. I have about 7 months to lose weight and get in shape for my wedding. Lots of people gave me good suggestions. The main one was to not skip breakfast. Here is the link to my question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqM2uMG5eOKrrzRo7_Xb2mDsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080423084212AA5aetG Hopefully you can open it. If not the question was under resolved questions in weddings: Calling all brides that have weight loss suggestions….? Some of these answers should help.
